You may have seen companies or websites offering prices like this. However, quality web design and search engine optimisation that will really work for you takes a lot of time and experience. So, while we are concerned to keep our website design and development rates affordable, the charges must be realistic. You just can't produce a proper website for this kind of price without comprimising and cutting corners, often where it matters most!
So ... how much ... ?
The answer is, obviously enough, ... it depends. Every website is different and each must be costed according to the size and number of features required, and so the amount of work that needs to go into it. Content Management Systems (CMSs) are a very exciting development in the web world. They are comparatively quick to install, you can have a functioning website up and running in a fraction of the time it takes to build one from scratch, and they can be updated very quickly and simply too!
The downsides are that they tend to look the same, and customising is time-consuming, and that there is quite a learning curve for maintaining and running a CMS.
Search Engine Optimisation : from £145
This depends on the nature and size of your website and is very important if you want to be found on Google, Yahoo and so on. With basic computing knowledge you may have some success doing this yourself but be warned - it will take-up lots of your time.
Database feature : from £145
This could be a mailing list, an image gallery that you can manage, a forum, a calendar, a blog etc.
Advanced bespoke graphical design : from £145
Again, this depends on the size and nature of your website. We will give your website a basic styling but if you want anything more we will need to discuss your needs. Good graphical design takes time!
Graphical logo design : from £145
We can produce attractive and appropriate graphical logos for your site, guided by your input. As well as including the logo on your website, we will supply the finished product in a variety of formats so that you will be able to use it in your other literature and advertising.
Graphical Header : from £150
A nice graphical header gives your website a professional look and a feel appropriate to its content.
Image Gallery : £100
per 10-12 fixed image gallery (as opposed to a user-updateable one).
User-updateable Image Gallery : £200
This allows the website owner to add/remove images and albums/galleries themselves.

The sitemap protocol is a file that can be put onto your website that lists all the pages for your website. This will help search engines deliver an accurate assessment of the contents of your website.
Please note that using this protocol will not influence the way your pages are ranked by Google.
